Like so many great love stories, ours began when we both swiped right on Hinge. On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Brad asked Annasara to have dinner that Friday. Annasara was initially excited mostly to talk to Brad about what it's like to start a therapy practice, and Brad was not looking for anything serious. But as it so often does, the universe had other plans. By the end of our first date we were smitten, and we said I love you a month later. By Thanksgiving we had met each others' parents, and on Christmas that year Brad said "I hope this is the last Christmas we ever spend apart." Annasara hoped that too.

For the next year and a half we dated and became mostly inseparable. Brad was an awesome support for Annasara as she finished therapy school, studied for the licensing exam, and launched her business. Annasara became Brad's closest confidant, supporting him in his work, health, and spiritual growth.

One particularly wonderful aspect of deepening our relationship was getting to know each other's family and friends. We both love spending time with our families are are thrilled to have partnered with someone who is equally close to their own family and with whose family we each love spending time.

Since our first month together, cold plunging is something that we have done as a pair (Brad enthusiastically, Annasara begrudgingly). On February 7, when Annasara walked out to the dock at the Galvin Family lake house to plunge, she saw a sign Brad created saying "Let's Take the Plunge!" Brad got down on one knee and proposed, to which Annasara gleefully said yes.

We are both very close to our immediate families, so we decided that as we exchanged vows and formed our own new family, we wanted to create the opportunity for our families to come together and connect at length. We had a tiny wedding weekend in Palm Springs where we booked an entire hotel and spent three days together bonding and celebrating.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our dear friends Chuck and Pablo, who let us get married in their backyard, we had the intimate wedding ceremony of our dreams. It was everything we wanted and more, and that extended time with our families is something we will be grateful for for our entire lives.

We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you! Our wedding would not feel complete without getting to celebrate with the people who have been such amazing sources of support, friendship, and love throughout our lives. See you soon!
